Manav Sthali School, a distinguished institution of Delhi celebrated its splendid 50th year staged a play “SWAMI VIVEKANANDA” (English) by the young artists of the school on 16 th December 2007 in the school auditorium. The play was a successful attempt to portray the vigorous dynamism of this towering personality.

The main idea behind staging of such plays is to make the students delve deep into the stirring & inspirational personalities who have left their indelible mark on the sands of time & to provide an insight into our remarkable Indian History. The play was applauded & commended by all present.

Dr.V.K.Bhatnagar, Founder Chairman, Manav Sthali Organisation, a dynamic persona, social servitor & originator of Manav Sthali Education enlightened the audience with his sagacious words of wisdom. He enlightened the audience on the significance of Vivekananda's life who is the remarkable icon for his fearless courage, his positive exhortations to the youth, his broad outlook on social problems, countless lectures & discourses on Vedanta philosophy.

Manav Sthali School, a premier educational institution of Delhi, in existence for five decades, is known for its holistic approach towards education. The school has promoted all art forms & has provided students with a platform to showcase their talent in the diverse fields of theater, dance, declamation, poetry & debates. At Manav Sthali literary & creative activities have been an extension of the teaching - learning process & add a refined sensibility to the children's personalities.

Mrs. Mamta V Bhatnagar, Director, Manav Sthali School has spearheaded the steady progress of the school for more than four decades. Manav Sthali School is forging ahead with pride under her guidance & leadership .She believes that theater is a great stress buster & is good for expressing various emotions, to solve problems, to socialize & to develop empathy which eventually contributes to their self esteem & creativity. The school has now initiated the Theater & Techniques in Education programme.

The evening also showcased an English song “I'm your Angel” by the choir group of the school which upholds the spirit of hope, the strength of believing and the search for a brighter tomorrow. The performance of the participants in the play was commendable. With their flawless presentation they showcased the youth icon of India “Swami Vivekananda” choreographed with relevant musical songs.
