EXERCISING ATHLETIC ABILITIES

Manav Sthali School offers to its students the infrastructure and world class coaching for cricket and basket ball. The school's sports camps are organized at Aravali where a special area has been developed to promote athletic enhancement. Horse Riding, Roller Skating and Table Tennis are the important hallmarks of the school.

FIRMLY SADDLED TO ACHIEVE NEW HEIGHTS
Horse Riding, as an activity, has always held a special status in the school curriculum and the equestrian club has been proudly hosting the horse show programmes regularly. These shows emphasise the participatory spirit of the children and are non-competitive events keeping in view the limitations of the young age group. From a steady gait to cantering and galloping, the young riders are taught the riding skills at various levels on thoroughbred horses and are prepared to present events like criss crossing, figure formation, zig-zag movements, steeple chase and tent pegging. From a cuddly age group of 4 years to a senior age group of 16 years, the young enthusiasts present a good balance of equilibrium, steadiness, uniformity, refined team spirit and perform feats on horse backs with great zeal and lan.

ROLLER SKATING
Manav Sthali School is singularly responsible for introducing Roller Skating in the country as an important sports event in the School. In Manav Sthali, Roller Skating became a way of life when hundred of students from pre-primary to senior secondary rolled their way to Morning and Evening in Jubilant Spirits.

The school has an excellent roller skating rink and our skaters have been participating in state and national level championships.

TABLE TENNIS - "CATCH THEM YOUNG"
Table Tennis is another salient feature of Manav Sthali School. "Smt. Chandravati Bhatnagar Memorial Table Tennis Tournament" draws an impressive participation of schools from all over India. "Catch Them Young" is a popular doctrine and to motivate children for constructive and competitive spirit right from the beginning, even children below 5 years of age get a chance to participate in this mega event, thus making this event unique.

CAMPS AT ARAVALI
The Aravali retreat brings education out of the classroom and into the open environs. In an environment which encourages healthy competition through sports such as mountaineering, trekking, hockey, football, the students learn the dynamics of group participation and team spirit. Our hope and efforts may one day make this small but significant step a giant leap towards grooming future Olympic participants.
