of thinking in the field of learning and education. Mrs. Mamta Bhatnagar, Founder
Principal, Manav Sthali School always strongly felt that the school should have an
interest in children only then a true MANAV can be made. She has always felt that
Education is the very citadel, the foundation of a prosperous and meaningful life.
She has always believed that true education aims at building up an integrated personality,
simultaneous and harmonious growth of body and mind, the senses and the spirit.
The world is a small place, and growing smaller day-by-day. Mrs. Mamta Bhatnagar is
convinced that lasting peace is possible if individual and groups can learn to live
together as friends. In her desire to furze new ties with the outside world to strengthen
cultural exchange and keep children's abreast with the traditions of other countries.
Mrs. Bhatnagar inspired the formation of International Friendship Club through the
"Children's International Summer Villages" (CISV) and "International School to School
Exchange" (ISSE). Delegation of these clubs since 1978 have been visiting various
countries like USA, Norway, Mexico, Brazil, Denmark, Japan, New Zealand, Sweden to
name a few. These cross-cultural exchanges have spread the fragrance of our values
and culture around the globe while learning about the same.
Mrs. Bhatnagar, the inspiration and guiding force behind Manav Sthali School, has
always urged the students to make the preservation of the environment a personal commitment.
She is of the belief that "Trees are not only ornaments of our planet Earth but also
a support of life". She has always encouraged the students and created awareness amongst
the children to have reverence for the umpteen gifts the Nature has bestowed on us
and to cherish and preserve it forever.
Mrs. Mamta Bhatnagar has always been the flag bearer in introducing new opportunities
for children. She has always emphasized that the quest for knowledge should be for
the well being of society and one should learn to live in harmony with Nature. Manav
Sthalians are proud of introducing Biotechnology as a subject, which is a thriving
and very contemporary combination of technology and the biological sciences, a subject
which is futuristic in outlook and beneficial for the society and nature.
An educationist of note, Mrs. Mamta Bhatnagar realized that Modern India, standing
on the threshold of a new tomorrow needed the strong roots of its culture, its spiritualism,
its moral strengths anchored firmly while spreading its branches in the fresh and
fragrant air of technological progress and development.
