NEW DIMENSIONS TO EDUCATION

Dr. V.K. Bhatnagar, Founder, Manav Sthali School, believes that in today's national scenario of increasing population and limited job opportunities, the need of the hour is to stress upon vocational training where the child picks up a career and a stage is set according to his/her inclination and ability right from his/her foundation days of learning, be it agriculture, fashion designing or astronomy. The stress should be on self-sufficiency and self-employment which will in the longer run lead to an established economy.

TECHNO PROJECTS
Manav Sthali School has introduced and incorporated the Techno Projects Programme in its curriculum. This is an attempt towards arousing an awareness for the technical: of nurturing the potential of future engineers and technical designers. The project involves a thorough understanding of the working of various electronic and mechanical objects ranging from torch and mobile phone to cars, trains and aeroplanes. Like in sports, we believe in catching them young here too.

BIOTECHNOLOGY Biotechnology is the product of interaction between different branches of life science and technology. It is the integrated use of Biochemistry, Genetics and Engineering science in order to achieve technological application for the progress of the whole biosphere. Biotechnology is the new frontier field science with a high promise for the welfare of humanity. Manav Sthali School is one of the pioneers in teaching biotechnology at school level. A Biotechnology laboratory with the latest infrastructure has been set up in the school.

VSAT - "Today's classroom of the future" Manav Sthali School, New Rajinder Nagar is heading for VSAT driven pilot project on E-Learning and integrated education system. The integrated system is "today's classroom of the future" where the best faculty and content is made accessible to the learners with their interactive participation through micro-phone and screen attached to computer terminals.

VSAT ( Very Small Aperture Terminal) is a satellite technology with provides two way audio and one way video signals to be transmitted via satellites. It facilitates video-conferencing between a teacher and students located at two different geographic locations. VSAT technology can also be used to access Internet.
